Cottage Hotels -- Pay upon Check-In
Please exchange enough currency at the airport to pay for your taxi and any other expenses you anticipate. If you are staying at the Cottage Yes Please Hotel or the Cottage Crown Plaza Hotel, these two hotels will require you to pay your hotel bill upon check-in. We have negotiated to keep the room rates as low as possible, including arranging shared rooms for pilgrims (with fellow pilgrims of the same gender).
The room rates will be from approximately 1000 to 2500 Rupees per night, depending on the room, and how many beds are in the room (2 - 4). Know that if you are the first pilgrim arriving in your hotel room and there are no roommates that day, you will be responsible for the whole room rate for the day. However, in most cases we were able to book pilgrims into their hotels with roommates. The good news is that because of our negotiations for low group rates, the rate for a whole room is usually less than an individual could negotiate hotel accommodations for one's self.
Pre-pilgrimage hotel fees at the other pre-pilgrimage hotels will be similar, however only the Cottage hotels require payment upon check-in.
Remember to exchange enough currency at the airport to pay for your taxi and your Cottage hotel. A money changer will be available to our group at the Pearl Plaza Hotel at 11:00am on November 15.
